Remarks. Favusella planata n. sp. is a very distinctive species which can easily be distinguished from other members of the genus by its last whorl of chambers being coiled in a lower plane and by its last two or three chambers being laterally compressed.
Range. Upper Ticinella breggiensis Zone (upper Albian) to upper Thalmanninella ticinensis Zone (upper Albian).
