Globigerina bulloides tripartita

Diese Form ist dadurch charakterisiert, dass der von 3 Kammern gebildete letzte Umgang etwa fünf Sechstel der Gesamthöhe des ganzen Gehäuses ausmacht. Die altem Kammern sind in einer flachen Spirale aufgerollt, die kaum über die 3 jüngsten Kammern herausragt. Diese sind auf der Unterseite durch klaffende Suturen getrennt. Der Nabel ist tief eingesunken. Die Lage der Mündung konnte nicht beobachtet werden.

Als nächststehende Form kommt Gl. bulloïdes v. quadripartita B. Koch in Betracht, zu der auch Übergänge bestehen, indem sich zwischen die 3 letzten Kammern eine 4. einschiebt. Nur von unten betrachtet, könnte leicht mit Sphaeroidina dehiscens Parker und Jones verwechselt werden.
