Original Description

Translation from the Russian. - Test oval, low conical, with a compressed periphery. Dorsally, following the initial chamber, there are six small chambers in the first whorl, and four chambers in the second whorl. Ventrally, there are four chambers. Sutures on the dorsal side weakly curved.

Test oval, low conical, considerably compressed on two opposite sides, especially at the peripheral margin, where a blunt, lobate keel is formed. The dorsal side is more flattened than the ventral; following the initial round chamber, there are, in the first whorl, six small, flattened chambers increasing rapidly in size, which are surrounded by four large chambers of the final whorl, moderately protruding from the surface. Ventrally, the largest (last) chamber is perpendicular to the three remaining radially arranged chambers of the final whorl, Sutures between the chambers narrow, in the final whorl depressed; on the ventral side, they are straight. Dorsally, the sutures of the early whorls are slightly curved, very faintly depressed. The umbilicus is usually filled with secondary test material. Aperture slitlike, barely discernible. Wall calcareous, surface covered by tiny pores.

Size:
Diameter 0.35 mm.; thickness 0.17 mm.

Comparison. - The described species differs from the typical form in the smaller number of chambers, including the final whorl.
