Original Description

[Translation from the Russian. - Test quadrangular, inflated; dorsally, there are 3 whorls; the early one has 5 small chambers; the second and third have 2ÃÇÂ_-4 inflated chambers each. Ventrally, the last chamber is perpendicular to the 2 preceding ones, of which the penultimate is elongate, with a straight, deep suture. [Test low conical, elongate, with moderately convex early whorls. Dorsally, following a small round initial chamber there are 5 barely discernible chambers in the first whorl; in the second and third whorls there are 2ÃÇÂ_-4 chambers in each whorl, rapidly increasing in size, with the penultimate chamber nearly perpendicular to the last one. Ventrally, there are 3-3ÃÇÂ_ chambers, the penultimate one being elongate, semioval, with a long, straight and deep, perpendicular suture, and leaning against the last, large, semispherical chamber. Spiral suture depressed; the other sutures are also deep, straight, narrow. Aperture semilunate, arcuately curved, with a lip, in the last chamber, between the umbilicus and the periphery. Wall calcareous, densely pitted. Diameter 0.58 mm.; thickness 0.30 mm.
