Original Description

Moderate in size, robust; moderately highly elevated dextral trochospire, moderately loose parallel to axis, tight perpendicular to axis. Equatorial outline weakly lobate; lateral outline spiroconvex. Chambers globular, weakly to moderately closely appressed, at least 10 in total, 3t in final whorl; increase slow. Dorsal view: chambers slightly longer concentrically, weakly inflated; sutures barely depressed; intercameral sutures directed and curved posteriorly. Ventral view: chambers inflated; sutures radial to curved; umbilicus tight; aperture umbilical, opposite second-Iast--third-last intercameral suture, a high arch with a thick lip. Lateral view: smoothly rounded. Wall densely perforate with elevated interpore ridges.

Size:
Length, 205 µm; width, 200 µm; height, 240 µm.

Etymology:
Latin, altus, high; helix, -icis (f.), whorl, spiral.
