Editors' Notes
A perplexing illustration, not referable to the Globigerinaeae according to Blow 1979 [Huber at al. 2006, p.507]

Le Calvez (1949) mentioned that the type specimen of G. conglomerata is completely destroyed and treated the species as a nomen dubium. [comment fom F. leCoze]

NB Since this is a junior homonym of Globigerina conglomerata Schwager 1866 it is not valid. [my interpretation - JRY 2023]

Hello,

Le Calvez (1949) mentionned that the type specimen of G. conglomerata is completly destroyed and treated the species as a nomen dubium.

thanks - I have added your comment to the notes on the species. Clearly this is one species description which is now of no value.
