Original Description

Ziemlich grosse, aus 9 kugeligen, allmählig an Grösse zunehmenden, in eine Spirale mit 2½ Umgängen gestellten Kammern bestehende Form, deren Oberfläche gröblich punktirt ist; von der Nabelseite gesehen, sind nur 4 grössere und eine fünfte kleinere Kammer sichtbar.

Vorkommen: Ziemlich häufig an den meisten Fundstellen des Nummulitenkalks.
Diese Art ist durch ihre beträchtliche Grösse von Gl. cretacea d'Orb. und Gl. bulloides d'Orb., sowie durch feine Punktirung ausgezeichnet.
