Remarks - La presente especie es algo parecida a Globoquadrina larmeui Akers, de la que se distingue por ser más globasa y por tener el diente valvular menos prominente. Esta especie fue ilustrada por Bandy procedente de la formación Jackson de Alabama bajo el nombre de Globigerina trilocularis d'Orbigny, pero, aunque algo parecida en la forma general de la concha, es completamente diferente a la verdadera G. trilocularis d'Orbigny. Aparentemente es una especie ampliamente distribuída en la formación Jackson y también ha sido encontrada en fonna cio nes equivalentes a la Jackson en el Eoceno superior de Cuba, Trinidad y México.""
