Original Description

The shape of the specimens of this species is somewhat like that of G. conglobata, but it lacks the secondary aperture of the latter. The chambers enlarge too rapidly in the Haitian specimens for them to be classified as G. inflata. The shape does not seem to be as square as that of G. conglomerata and the chambers enlarge much more rapidly in the Haitian form than in the latter.

Dimensions: figure 29, diameter, 0. 55 mm.; figure 30, diameter, 0.7 mm
