Original Description

[Translation from the Russian.]--Test consists of two and one-half to three distinct whorls which only very slightly differ from one another in dimensions, and are arranged in a very high spiral. The dorsal side is strongly convex and semispheric; the ventral side is concave. Each whorl consists of five distinct spherical chambers which are closely adjacent to one another. Within each whorl the chambers are almost uniform in size. Sutures are deeply depressed and linear. Aperture typical of the genus, in the umbilical area. In well-preserved specimens, apertures are seen in all chambers of the final whorl. Wall smooth, finely porous.
