Original Description

Test free, subglobular, reticulate; chambers numerous, inflated, subspherical, all visible from above, seven visible from below, umbilicate, sutures deep; wall calcareous, hyaline, distinctly perforated; aperture of each chamber opens into a common umbilloid vestibule.

Size:
Diameter 0.8 mm.

This form has considerable resemblance to Globigerina bulloides d'Orbigny.

Editors' Notes
This is a problematic species, as discussed by Bolli 1957 and Brönnimann & Brown 1958. It is probably an Early Cretaceous foram but the type ilustration oes not resemble the type specimen. It is hence regarded as invalid (Premoli Silva et al. 2018, p331).
