Original Description

Test small, planispiral, involute, biumbilicate; chambers increasing rapidly in size, later ones much inflated, about eight in the last volution; sutures distinctly depressed; wall calcareous, surface finely perforate; aperture an arch at the base of the last-formed chamber, on the periphery.
