Original Description

Новый род (типовой вид Rotalia aspera Ehrenb.) выдел ен из состава рода Globigerinelloides, от которого он отличается отсутст вием септальнаго утолщения, формой устьевых губ, прикрывающих реликтовые устья.

The new genus (type species Rotalia aspera Ehrenb.), is separated from the genus Globigerinelloides from which it is distinguished by the absence of a septal thickening by the shape of the apertural lips, covering relict apertures. [Translation from the Russian by F. LeCoze]
