Original Description

Test very small, trochoidal; spire with three whorls. Chambers subglobular, gradually increasing in size, non-enveloping. Adult with four large and well separated sub-globular chambers. Initial chamber very minute, usually not visible. Umbilical region of adult covered with a single, irregularly shaped, rather thin and smooth supplementary chamber which branches out into the sutural grooves. Aperture of adult multiple consisting of a small semicircular opening at the end of each branch of the supple- mentary chamber. Apertures of chambers formed prior to the supplementary chamber are single, small semicircular openings. Walls are finely perforate.

Size:
Height of holotype, 0.16 mm.; width, 0.14 mm.; thickness, 0.11 mm.

Extra details from original publication
This species differs from Globigerinita naparimaensis Bronnimann in its consistently smaller size; in having openings only at the branches of the supplementary chamber instead of along the sutures of the supplementary chamber; and in having a much smaller aperture in the globiberina chambers formed prior to the supplementary growth. It differs from Globigerinita glutinata (Egger) in having fewer openings of the supplementary chamber and in the confinement of these openings to the ends of branches of the supplementary chambers
