Original Description
[Test free, trochospiral, with more or less high spire. Chambers globulars to subglobulars, closely embraced. Lobulate perifery. Sutures between chambers almost straights, between whorls curved. Three chambers in the last whorl; the first of it, smaller than the followings. Principal aperture umbilical of regular size. Only one secundary aperture, smaller. In various specimens we can see a narrow lip in the upper part of both apertures. - Translation provided in the original paper]

G. consuelensis sp. nov. se asemeja a G. subquadratus Bronnimann en la forma de la concha, pero en nuestra especie la periferia es más fuertemente 'lobulada, las aberturas son mayores y la distribución estratigráfica es bien diferente.
[G. consuelensis sp. nov. is similar to G. subquadratus in the form of the test, but in our species the periphery is more strongly lobulate, the apertures are larger and the stratigraphical range is greatly different]
