Original Description The test is trochospiral, calcitic, microperforate, muricate with sometimes spiral, supplementary, sutural apertures. Four chambers are found in the last whorl. The primary aperture is intraumbilical, and lacking a porticus, but sometimes has bullae. These forms are always without tegillum, costellae, muricocarinae, perforation pits, or spines.
