Original Description

Variety differing from the typical in its smaller size. A large number (143) of specimens were identified in a small core sample, and none were seen to depart appreciably from the dimonsions of the holotype, which are aproximately half those of the species. The species was not present in this sample, nor was it identified in any of the higher or lower zones of the Louisiana Neogene.

Size:
Height of holotype, 0.22 mm.; width, 0.20 mm.; thickness, 0.11 mm.
