Extra details from original publication
This is not a typical Globorotalia menardii (d’Orbigny)  and does not belong to the same species on the basis of texture, organization of chambers and sutures; not enough material is at hand to describe the taxon completely at species level. G. menardii (d’Orbigny) var. fijiensis Cushman 1934, may be the most closely related taxon.
