Original Description

Test trochoid, dorsal view flat or very slightly convex, ventral side convex. Chambers 5-6 in the last whorl, the last formed chamber markedly small, always smaller than the penultimate one. Sutures on the ventral side are depressed and slightly curved. On the dorsal side they are raised and beaded and at least the last three are almost straight and meet the inner whorl tangentially. Periphery lobate, single keeled. Aperture opens in the wide open umbilicus.
