Original Description Similar to Gublerina acuta but generally larger, with bigger, more globular chambers, which are usually even more inflated in the middle of the lateral rows of chambers than the others. The two lateral rows are sometimes connected with two calcareous lamellae instead of one. The sutures are deeper than in Gublerina acuta. Size: Length of the holotype: 0,685 mm.
Width of the holotype: 0,548 mm Extra details from original publication Relationship and Differences: The subspecies is similar to G. acuta (see above), but seems more robust and solid. The differences are not sufficient to justify the classification of this form as a new species. Transitions to G. acuta and G. cuvillieri do happen, but not often.
