Differences. - This variety differs from the typical in the more inflated and narrower test, and in the comparatively smooth surface. This form differs from Guembelina cubensis Palmer in the character of the aperture and in the more elongate chambers. Guembelina midwayensis var. nammalensis differs from Guembelina garretti Howe in the smaller number of chambers, and in the smooth surface. In Guembelina garretti the surface of the initial chamber is striated. From Guembelina goodwini Cushman and Jarvis this variety differs in the narrower test and in the wider apertures . Guembelina reussi Cushman has a wider and longer test, with globose chambers.
