Original Description

Translated from Spanish: The test is small, calcareous and finely perforated, compressed, biumbilicate, semi-involute, the last whorl has five chambers that progressively increase in size. Among these last chambers the first three are subspherical and the last ones are radially elongate, giving the test the typical shape of the species. Sutures are radial and depressed. The aperture is arched, large and interiomarginal. Accessory apertures are not observed as they are covered by calcareous material in almost all the studied specimens. The wall texture is smooth or slightly hispid. The peripheral margin is lobate.
