Original Description Test planispiral, bi-evolute, microperforate, periphery of chambers not rounded as in Globigerinelloides but subangular, with a distinct break in the peripheral round, better marked on the first chambers of the last whorl by a concentration of perforation cones giving it a peripheral pseudo-keel. Size: Etymology: Extra details from original publication Remarks. Pseudoplanomalina gen. nov. differs from the homeomorph macroperforate genus Planomalina by the microperforate texture of the test and by the fact that in Planomalina the peripheral keel results from the concentration of muricae instead of perforation cones.
