Original Description Test small to medium, pseudoplanispiral, slightly dysaxial, evolute and laterally compressed; 2- 2.5 whorls; chambers in the outer whorl increasing rather fast in size as added; first chambers spherical to subspherical, the last two or three radially elongate, forward-directed and pointed, bearing tubulospines (frequently broken); peripheral outline substellate to stellate; sutures straight to slightly curved, radial and depressed; umbilical area medium wide and shallow; aperture an asymmetrical arch straddling the periphery, bordered by a thin lip; relict apertures at time observed.
