Original Description Test coiled in a medium to high trochospire; periphery ovoid to circular, lacking true carine but with an imperforate peripheral band; globular to angular; sutures radial, curved, depressed to slightly elevated; primary aperture an interiomarginal arch umbilical to extraumbilical in position, bordered by long, wide imperforate portici; portici extending into the umbilical area to fuse with the portici of the previous chambers; infralaminal apertures between the portici, located in the umbilical area, but often placed on the suture itself becoming true secondary apertures; umbilicus wide, partially covered by the umbilical cover-plate; surface strongly papillose.
