Original Description

Small, fairly robust; low sinistral trochospire, tight parallel and perpendicular to axis. Equatorial outline oval, weakly lobate; lateral outline compressed, weakly umbilicoconvex. Chambers ovate, closely appressed, at least 8 in total, 4! in final whorl; increase moderate. Dorsal view: chambers slightly longer concentrically, barely inflated; sutures slightly depressed; intercameral sutures radial. Ventral view: chambers moderately inflated; intercameral sutures radial meeting at slightly open umbilicus. Lateral view: smoothly rounded; aperture umbilical--extraumbilical, comma shaped, highest peripherally. Wall smooth; sparse small pores; very minor development of interpore ridges ventrally.

Length, 115 µm; width, 95 µm; height, 60 µm.

Latin, juvenis, young.
