D'après l'expose de ces caractères, nous ne pouvons plus conserver comme genres distincts les Gyroidines et les Calcarines, les premieres ayant en tout les memes dispositions d'ouvertures et seulement la spire tronquee; les secondes, à ouverture semblable, ne s'en distinguant que par les appendices de leur pourtour. Nous croyons donc de ne devoir diviser les Rotalines que en deux sous-genres: 1° les Rotalines propres, dans lesquelles rentrent en entier nos Gyroidines; 2 ° les Calcarines.
