Original Description

Moderate in size, robust; low dextral trochospire, tight parallel and perpendicular to axis. Equatorial outline very weakly trilobate; lateral outline oval. Chambers globular, very closely appressed, at least 6 in total, 3.5 in final whorl; increase moderate. Dorsal view: chambers slightly inflated; sutures barely depressed; intercameral sutures radial. Ventral view: chambers weakly inflated; intercameral sutures radial; umbilicus very tight; narrow umbilical--extraumbilical opening along final--third-Iast intercameral suture, widest proximally. Lateral view: smoothly rounded. Wall coarsely but shallowly cancellate, not developed near sutures.

Size:
Length, 300 µm; width 260 µm; height, 215 µm.

Etymology:
Latin, reticulatus, netted, net-like.
