Original Description

Test longer than broad, rapidly tapering from the bluntly pointed end, periphery lobulated, much compressed, a wedge-shaped plate between the two rows of chambers which are for the most part of the test biserial, in some specimens showing three chambers in the later stages; sutures limbate, depressed; aperture on the inner basal margin at least in the biserial stage, the aperture of the triserial specimens could not be observed.
