Original Description
Test large, composed of 4 inflated chambers in the last volution; initial chambers small, usually 5 in number, tightly coiled; wall coarsely punctate; one main aperture and several smaller ones opening into the shallow umbilicus.
Size: Diameter 0.63 mm.

This large, subglobular species is one of the commonest of the Globigerina forms encountered in the Guayabal.
