Extra details from original publication
This species seems to be related to Globigerina bulloides d’Orbigny, 1826, from which it differs in the organization and structure of chambers particularly last formed one. It differs from Globigerina apertura Cushman, 1918, in organization of, and shape of chambers and in the size and structure of umbilicus. It presentsa less com pact test with the length greater than the width also. The chambers are less globose than in either of species above. They are broader, flatter with a different overall symmetry.
