Sutures clearly defined, deeply depressed on the ventral side, straight on the dorsal side, thickened and arched in the early stages. Keel distinctly expressed, slightly serrate. Wall finely roughened. Aperture begins in the wide umbilical region and extends along the base of the final chamber.

Size:
Dimensions: diameter 0.51 mm; thickness 0.30 mm"

not given but probably from the village and/or river Pshada near Sochi on the East coast of the Black Sea. (44.5N; 38.4E)

Editors' Notes
In Keller 1946 the name is spelled as G. pschadae on a table p.86 but as G. pshadae elsewhere (plate caption ,original decriton and translated original description). The placename it is based on has been transliterated as either Pschad or Pshada. Subbotina (1953) adopted the spelling pschadae and this has been widely followed, but may have been an error.
