Original Description

Moderate in size, robust; low dextral trochospire, very tight parallel and perpendicular to axis. Equatorial outline very weakly lobate; lateral outline oval. Chambers globular, very closely appressed, at least 12 in total, 4 in final whorl, 4t in second- last whorl; increase slow but regular except final 'chamber' which is a reduced, umbilical flap. Dorsal view: chambers longer concentrically, slightly inflated; sutures slightly depressed; intercameral sutures slightly directed posteriorly, then curved posteriorly. Ventral view: chambers inflated; intercameral sutures radial; umbilicus tight, covered by flap with a low umbilical opening with a thick lip. Lateral view: smoothly rounded. Wall surface coarsely cancellate.

Size:
Length, 200 µm; width 195 µm; height, 145 µm.

Etymology:
Greek, ana, back again; the second component refers to 'Globorotaloides suteri Bolli'.
