The only clear reference I could find is in Gawor-Biedowa (1992) p. 77: Gawor-Biedowa, E. (1992). Campanian and Maastrichtian Foraminifera from the Lublin Upland, eastern Poland. Palaeontologica Polonica. 52: 1-187., available online at http://www.palaeontologia.pan.pl/Archive/1992_52.pdf
According to Gawor-Biedowa, Hastigerina aspera digitata was described in Subbotina, N. N. (1964). Фораминиферы меловых и палеогеновых отложений Западнo-Сибирской низменности-Foraminifera of Cretaceous and Paleogene deposits in the West Siberian plain. Proceedings of the Oil Research Geological Institute (ВНИГРИ-VNIGRI). 234: 1-455.

It is a variety of Globigerinelloides asper and Gawor-Biedowa included H. aspera digitata in the synonyms of G. asper.
Do you have any reference for the synonymy with G. escheri?
The synonymy comes from the Chronos database and was not documented, but Brian will likely know. Thanks for the Subbotina reference and the link to Gawor-Bieddowa, not least as there were a few new species in there we had missed.
