Planomalina blowi is the type species of Blowiella Kretchmar & Gorbachik, 1971

Gorbachik, T. N. (1971). О раннемеловых фораминиферах Крыма-On Early Cretaceous Foraminifers of the Crimea. Академия наук СССР Вопросы микропалеонтологии-Academy of Sciences USSR Questions of Micropaleontology. 14: 125–139., available online at http://www.ginras.ru/library/pdf/14_1971_voprosy_mikropaleontologii.pdf

page(s): p. 135

Loeblich and Tappan (1987), and several recent authors recognize Blowiella and Globigerinelloides as two distinct genera. Do you have an ultimate reference concerning the synonymy between Blowiella and Globigerinelloides?

I suspect this is still a topic under debate but Moullade et al. 2002 discuss it at some length.
