Original Description
Extra details from original publication
The specimens closely resemble the types of Biglobigerinella barri BOLLI, LOEBLICH,and TAPPAN, (1957, p. 25, pl. I, figs. 13-18). However, the early chambers of B. barri are rounded with depressed sutures, and there is little increase in size and inflation as chambers are added. The present species is more elongate than circular, and there is no indication in any of our specimens that a biforaminate stage has been attained.
