Original Description
Test biserial throughout or followed by one or two, rarely more, sets of small multiserial chamberlets. Biserial part of the test flaring throughout, or rapidly flaring in the juveniles, with sides of last few pairs of biserial chambers becoming subparallel. Biserial chambers subglobular, wider than high or deep, multiserial chamberlets globular. Periphery rounded, at most faintly lobate in the adult. Surface covered by thin, discontinuous costae, with rows of medium sized pores in between; sutures flush to slightly depressed, often imperforate. Apertures high and narrow arcs, bordered by small, but distinct flanges.
