Original Description

In the young a rotaloid spire, the last whorl embracing only one side of the spire; chambers inflated, 6-7 in the last coil; sutures slightly depressed, not limbate; wall finely perforate, surface smooth in the adult; aperture a long, narrow slit at the base of the apertural face

Size:
diameter up to 0.79 mm

Extra details from original publication
Corresponding with the generic description of Pulleniatina except in two characters: the last whorls do not embrace the spire on both sides, but only partially, and the wall is not coarsely perforate. Moreover the aperture is narrow. Possibly we are dealing with a new genus."

Editors' Notes
Described as Pulleniatina? semiinvoluta. See discussion in Banner and Blow (1967), who proposed a new genus, Rotaliatinopsis, to incorporate Germeraad’s taxon.
