Original Description Espece du genre Sigalia Reiss, 1957. Le test possede 5 a 6 paires de chambres, arrangees d'une maniere biseriale, lateralement et originellement compressees. Les sutures limbees et deprimees sont souvent perlees. Ornementation de stries tres fines recouvrant toute la surface du test. Ouverture simple en arc, a la base de la derniere chambre formee.
Extra details from original publication Rapport et differences.- Cette espece ressemble a Sigalia deflaensis (Sigal) [Guembelina deflaensis, 1952] par l'arrangement biserial des chambres d'un bout a l'autre du test, la forme globuleuse des loges et l'absence de carene. Elle en differe par sa repartition stratigraphique (Campanien superieur). Notons que Sigalia deflaensis (Sigal) caracterise la partie superieure du Coniacien et du Santonien. Elle en differe egalement par le fait que chez Sigalia deflaensis (Sigal), seul le tiers inferieur du test est orne de stries, tandis que chez Sigalia bejaouensis Salaj et Maamouri, elle affecte toute la surface du test. Elle differe de Sigalia carparica Salaj et Samuel par sa repartition stratigraphique par l'ornementation et surtout par l'absence de carene."
