Sphaeroidinella senni unterscheidet sich von der miocaenen, S. rutschi Cushman & Renz durch die höhere Dorsalspirale und durch die feinere Wandperforation. Sie hat dadurch grosse Ähnlichkeit mit Globigerina, aber die zackigen und meist schlitzförmig gespaltenen Ventralsuturen sind typisch für Sphaeroidinella.

E&M gives the date 1954 not 1953 and they noticed it was issued in the volume dated 1953. If you have more info? It seems that the second part of the volume was only available in January 1954.
I don't have any more on this but I try not to change things which were published in the Eocene Atlas unless there is a strong reason
