Original Description
Diagnosis. A species of Tenuitella with chambers swollen at their proximal end, producing an angular peripheral outline.

Description. Test tiny, consisting of about two and a half whorls of chambers, and four and one-half chambers in the final whorl, periphery rounded; chambers increasing rapidly in size as added. flattened on spiral side, thickest in their proximal one-third. inflated on umbilical side; urn bilicus depressed; sutures radial. slightly curved, depressed, constricted; wall calcareous, surface smooth; aperture an arch extending from the umbilicus nearly to the periphery, with an overhanging subrectangular lip.

Size: Diameter of holotype 0.19 mm, thickness 0.10 mm.

Etymology: From the Greek, kvrtos, bent. humped, kyrtoma. curve, swelling, plus ina. diminutive suffix, with reference to the bent or angular profile of the cham bers.
