Ich habe übrigens absichtlich wederanden vielfach sprachwidrigen generischen Namen der früheren Beobachter viel gerührt, noch auch die oft unwichtigen generischen Charaktere, bei den Polythalamien besonders, ganz zu unterdrücken jetzt schon für rathsam gehalten, bemerke aber, dass für Textularia späterhin etwa Textilaria zu stellen sein wird und dass die unwichtigen Charaktere durch die gewählte Anordnung dem physiologischen Auge von selbst entgegentreten

Editors' Notes

Textilaria was proposed as a replacement name for Textularia Defrance 1824, but presumbably once nomenclatural rules were properly codifed it became established that Textularia was validly published and so that Textilaria was a superfluous name.
