Original Description

The test is macroperforate, calcitic, and trochospiral. The surface is smooth, and the axial periphery is rounded to bluntly subangular. The last whorl of the test has four to five rapidly enlarging, globular chambers, but they are not radially elongate or carinate. The penultimate whorl is small. The umbilical side of test is flat to concave. The surface is smooth, without perforation pits, or with broad and widely separated perforation pits on the early whorls. The primary aperture is umbilical, extraumbilical with no bullae.

The genus evolved from Parasubbotina and into Pseudoglobigerinella bolivariana.
