Original Description Trochospiral, entirely triserially coiled, smooth-walled to very low pustulose planktonic taxon, with a high, loop-shaped aperture, extraumbilical, excentrically placed near the outer edge of the final chamber, and bounded by a thick lip. Etymology: From the type locality, Mermaid Canyon, North West Shelf, Western Australia.
