Original Description

Test minute, consisting of subglobular chambers, 4 pairs making up the last whorl, periphery strongly lobulated; chambers very distinct, inflated, in alternating pairs at each side of the axis of coiling extending over slightly onto the opposite side at the periphery; sutures deeply depressed, distinct; wall smooth, finely perforate; aperture a definite elongate opening in the line of coiling. It is a very small, easily overlooked species, but very distinct in the character of its globular chambers.
