Original Description [Translation from the Russian. - Test low conical; ventrally, of the second and fourth spherical chambers the latter portrudes and is wedge-shaped at its base. Dorsally, there are five chambers in the first whorl, and four in each of the two remaining whorls. [Test not always oval; elongate toward the final chamber. Dorsally, there are three whorls following the initial chamber. In the first whorl there are five small, weakly expressed chambers; in the second and third whorls there are four chambers in each, which increase rapidly in size and change from semispherical to spherical. Ventrally, the deep umbilicus is surrounded by four nearly spherical chambers; only the last one, which portrudes in a wedgelike manner, is situated between the second and fourth chambers [?: compare with statement in paragraph above]. It is curious that it looks as if it were leaning anteriorly against the last chamber of a Globigerina triloculinoides Plummer. Septal sutures narrow, nearly straight, strongly depressed in the last chamber. Aperture curved, slitlike, in the last chamber. Wall calcareous, densely covered by pores. Diameter 0.55 mm.; thickness 0.20 mm. Size: Etymology: Extra details from original publication
