Original Description

Gl. laevigata, paulo magis duracina, nitida, albiday poris valde confertis, angustissimis perforata. Loculi 3—4 ovales, amoti, suturis minus acute insectisse parati. Apertura fissurata.
Diametros maxima 0.5-0.6mm.
Rarissima in marnis inferioribus.

The form illustrated should be distinguishable from the previous one as a special species, or at least as a fairly conspicuous variety. The main difference lies in the denser and thicker nature of the more porcelain-like than glassy shell and the perforation of it by very dense but extremely fine pores. Otherwise, the 3-4 spiral chambers are elongated-oval, somewhat depressed and pushed closely together, separated by less sharply incised suture furrows. The aperture is column-shaped.
