Original Description

[Translation from the Russian. - Test suboval, with a lobate periphery. Dorsally, there are six small chambers in the first whorl, four semispherical chambers in the second, and four large spherical chambers in the third whorl. Ventrally, the deep umbilicus is surrounded by four nearly spherical chambers. Sutures deep. [Test low conical, elongate toward the final chamber, periphery broadly lobate. Dorsally, in the initial chamber is round, surrounded by six small, semispherical chambers of the first whorl, with distinct sutures. In the second and third whorls there are four semispherical chambers in each, rapidly increasing in size and becoming spherical. On the ventral side the deep umbilicus is surrounded by four nearly spherical chambers of the final whorl. Spiral sutures depressed. Sutures between the chambers deep, narrow, straight; ventrally, they are sometimes weakly curved. Aperture semilunate, flanking the umbilicus in the final chamber. A calcareous lip overhangs the aperture. Wall calcareous, densely pitted with alveolar-like sculpture. Diameter 0.51 mm.; thickness 0.31 mm.
