Original Description [Translation from the Russian. - Test trochoid, coarsely perforate. Early coiling stages of the G. bulloides type. Four chambers in the last whorl [of this stage] . The number of chambers in the last whorl of the coil then increases to six or seven according to the degree of growth of the test. Chambers on the ventral side elongated and overlapping previous chambers. Aperture a narrow arch, opening at the peripheral margin. Profile so broad that the test is almost spherical.
