Original Description Test small, tightly coiled, turret-shaped, rounded in outline. Consists of 2-2.5 whorls, in the last of which are 4 round chambers, closely appressed. Chambers of initial whorl very small, later chambers much larger, do not always increase evenly in size and have nearly uniform dimensions, the last chamber is sometimes even smaller than the penultimate one. Sutures not very deep, nearly straight. Aperture umbilical, covered by a thin broad lamina, usually covering the entire umbilical region of the test. Wall smooth, finely perforate, opaque.
